About me
Dr. Reid is a licensed psychologist who specializes in evidence-based treatment of anxiety disorders and obsessive compulsive disorder among preschoolers, children, and adolescents. She completed her internship in Clinical Child/Pediatric Psychology at Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine (TCH/BCM) and received her doctoral degree in school psychology at the University of Houston. She pursued specialized training through her postdoctoral fellowship with the OCD and Anxiety Disorders Program at TCH/BCM. Dr. Reid has expertise in delivering exposure and response prevention and cognitive behavioral therapy (E/RP + CBT) for presenting concerns such as selective mutism, separation anxiety, specific phobia, social anxiety, panic disorder, and OCD. She has a special interest in working with preschoolers and their caregivers on anxious and disruptive behaviors, using a combination of parent management training (PMT) and E/RP strategies. She takes a family-based approach to treatment and views caregivers as an integral component of the therapy process.
